Lanternlight
Raptem zaczęła się jesień, a już dni są wyraźnie krótsze i wczesnym wieczorem zapalają się lampy. Pewnie dlatego moje ucho natychmiast wychwyciło słowo "Lanternlight", które wyłoniło się z cichej, niedzielnej piosenki. I zachwyciło mnie. Pomyślałam, że chcę je dla siebie zatrzymać na tę nadchodzącą jesień, a jak się da, to może nawet na długie, ciemne, zimowe dni. Pomyślałam, że chcę zatrzymać jasne światło, które to słowo w sobie przechowuje. Niczym wspomnienie lata, które przyniosło tyle ciepłych spotkań. Zatem narysowałam dziewczynę z latarnią — strażniczkę światła. I dzielę się nią z nadzieją, że może obudzi w Was jakieś letnie wspomnienie, że może oświetli Wam chociaż jeden jesienny wieczór.

Wpadł mi dzisiaj w ręce wiersz Anny Świrszczyńskiej pt. "Stałam się słońcem":
"Kiedyś zgasło nade mną słońce,
Musiałam stać się słońcem.
To było trudne, ale teraz
Jaka wygoda."
Zatem takze bądźmy sobie latarniami!
Lanternlight
Autumn has suddenly begun, and the days are already noticeably shorter, with lamps lighting up in the early evening. Perhaps that's why my ear immediately caught the word "Lanternlight," emerging from a quiet Sunday song. It captivated me. I thought to myself that I want to keep it for this upcoming autumn, and, if possible, even for the long, dark winter days. I thought I wanted to hold on to the bright light that this word carries within it. Like a memory of summer, which brought so many warm encounters. So, I drew a girl with a lantern — a guardian of light. And I'm sharing her with the hope that she might awaken some summer memory in you, that she might illuminate at least one of your autumn evenings.
