Pejzaz z nut

Bardzo ognisty jest ten pejzaż. Następuje w nim gwałtowne przeobrażanie się energii z jednego stanu w drugi. Jest w nim ruch, zmiana. Tym są emocje. Tym jest życie.

Chciałabym tym monoprintem zamknąć wspominanie spotkań "na ucho". Sporo monotypii jeszcze pozostało w tej serii, ale moja psychotyczna natura potrzebuje granic. Dlatego oglądając monotypie z tej serii, "trust the tale not the teller", jak pisała Sigrid Nunez. Opowiedzieć o niej jednak bardzo chciałam. Dlaczego? Atwood pisała: "Nie opowiada się niczego tylko dla siebie. Zawsze jest ktoś drugi, nawet kiedy nie ma nikogo. (...) Mówiąc ci cokolwiek, przynajmniej wierzę w ciebie, wierzę, że jesteś, powołuję cię do życia mocą swojej wiary. Opowiadając ci tę historię, wymuszam twoje istnienie. Mówię, więc jesteś." Dlatego.

A landscape of notes

This landscape is very fiery. There is a rapid transformation of energy from one state to another. There is movement, change. That's what emotions are. That's what life is.

With this monoprint, I would like to close the chapter of reminiscing about "whispered" encounters. There are still many monotypes left in this series, but my psychotic nature needs boundaries. That's why, when viewing the monotypes from this series, "trust the tale, not the teller," as Sigrid Nunez wrote. But I really wanted to tell you about it. Why? Atwood wrote, "Nothing is told only to oneself. There is always someone else, even when no one is there. (...) By telling you anything, I at least believe in you, believe that you exist, summon you to life with the power of my belief. By telling you this story, I compel your existence. I speak, therefore you are." That's why.
