Little Heaven

Drzeworyt — niewielki drobiazg, który mógłby być moim autoportretem, ponieważ są tutaj rzeczy, które ostatnimi laty najbardziej umilały mi wolne chwile. Jest książka, jest różany ogród i są maleńkie ptaki w nim ukryte, które bardziej słychać, niż widać. I jest jeszcze cicha muzyka w tle, której co prawda na obrazku nie mozna zobaczyc, ale mam nadzieję, że może ją słychać gdzieś między białymi kreskami, wydłubanymi w japońskim drzewie gruszkowym.

Z miłością wysyłam tę maleńką grafikę w świat — niech cieszy Wasze oczy..

Little Heaven

A woodcut — a tiny thing,  that could be my self-portrait, because it contains the items that have brought me the most joy in my free time in recent years. There is a book, a rose garden, and samll birds hidden within it — more often heard than seen. And there is also quiet music in the background, which isn't visible in the image, but I hope it can be heard somewhere between the white lines engraved into Japanese pear wood.
